Risk and Compliance in Practice
Work through the decisions compliance teams face every week. Answer a data access request with care, judge a vendor risk exception, respond to a pollution result in time and handle a procurement conflict of interest.
Each module has short lessons with a check question, then a graded simulation. About 5 hours in total, at your own pace.
- Module 1: The access request from the banned member
A member banned after a gym floor incident has asked for all the data held about her, including the names of who complained. Work out the real deadline, decide what is disclosed, redacted or withheld, write to her, and keep the record.
- Module 2: The analytics vendor risk exception
Marketing wants a fast growing analytics vendor live before Black Friday, and it wants 1.2 million customers' names, emails and card digits. Assess the vendor's evidence, score the risk, design the controls that would make an exception acceptable, and keep the gate shut when the vendor reveals an old incident.
- Module 3: The ammonia result and the twenty-four hours
A monthly ammonia result is above the permit limit. Decide whether the permit has actually been breached, get a notification signed before the clock runs out, and handle a report of dead fish downstream without guessing or denying.
- Module 4: The lowest bid and the late declaration
Four bids for a three year grounds contract. Score them exactly as published, deal with a price that looks too low and a panel member's late declaration, recommend an award within the rules, and handle the people who want to know the result early.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Skill Path?
A Skill Path is a short course built around real work. Each module has two or three short lessons, then a simulation where you do the job in a fictional company. Your work in each simulation is graded against a rubric.
How long does a Skill Path take?
Most Skill Paths take three to five hours in total. You can stop at any point and pick up where you left off. There are no deadlines.
What do I get when I finish?
When every simulation in the path is complete and graded, you earn a FinderK credential. It lists the work you did and the skills it shows. You can keep it private or share a link to it, for example on LinkedIn.
How much does a Skill Path cost?
Some Skill Paths are included with FinderK Plus, which has a free trial. Others are sold once at a fixed price and stay yours. You can read the first module's lessons for free before you decide.
Do I need experience?
No. Each path states its level. Beginner paths assume no previous experience in the role, and the lessons explain the ideas you need before each simulation.
